There are times that call for action and there are times where it’s best to sit, watch and wait.

This is one of those times when it’s good to take a breath and see what’s going to happen next.

The whole world has changed in the last couple of months and we’re still trying to figure out what our new normal will be – and when. Many of us have had our jobs, income and security shaken. There’s no doubt that it’s a scary time for many of us – and that’s not even taking into account the health concerns.

We truly hope that you and your loved ones haven’t been too badly affected by the pandemic – besides our temporary loss of freedom. If you are expecting to have difficulty repaying your mortgage or investment loan, please speak to your lender or mortgage broker to discuss your options.

It’s an interesting time in the property market because we’re all waiting and watching, to see what will come from this. The only other major world event we have to compare to economically is the GFC which saw property prices rebound by over 13% once we entered recovery mode.

My only advice right now is that if you’re planning on investing, or hoping to take up any opportunities that present themselves, you need to be ready to move when that opportunity presents.

So call me and give me your brief. Tell me your plans and goals, your budget, the type of property you’re thinking of and any locations that particularly interest you.

Once I have this information, I can keep my eyes peeled for properties that meet your brief. No doubt, there will be deals being done and there’s a forecast undersupply that will be growing as project start dates are delayed.
