Having visited this property last week, I am astounded by the level of finishes and the thoughtful touches throughout that will make this apartment a lovely home. The views are stunning, the block is beautiful, the gardens are lovely. The gym is of commercial quality, the common areas are outstanding, with dining room, lounge room, games room and outdoor areas. It even has lockable wine cages for each apartment!

The fact that the building was completed 18 months ago is an advantage. The developer held onto a couple of properties to benefit from capital growth. It has also allowed for the Strata Building Bond & Inspection Scheme to be triggered – which is a new incentive to protect people from buying properties off the plan. The developer pays a bond to ensure there are funds to repair any defects and there is a schedule for inspections and testing that must be adhered to. I am pleased (but not surprised) to know that it has passed every test and inspection over the past 18 months.  So there will be no defect surprises to be concerned about.
